Scarlet supply a range of different flowmeters to support their PL tools for use in different down hole conditions
Collapsible Full Bore flowmeter
• 1-11/16” (42,8mm) OD collapsed
• 8” (203mm) OD open
• Supports operation in 4-1/2” to 8” ID casing
• Can be supplied to support operation in 3-1/2” to 5/12” ID casing
• Can be supplied in 1-3/8” (35mm) OD
• Adjustable brake to vary when the blades open and close
• 12 pulses/rev
• Easily replaceable bow springs
Collapsible full-bore flowmeter blades
This blade assembly is easy to attach and remove from the flowmeter and can be supplied with different blade lengths to support operation in different ID tubing.
In Line flowmeter
The in line flowmeter is built into the PL tool.
• 12 pulses/rev
• Lightweight 6 blade impeller with tungsten pin shaft
• Sprung sapphire jewel bearings
• Near zero drag operation
Continuous flowmeters
Supplied in 3 sizes of OD;
• 2-1/8” (54.0mm)
• 1-11\16” (42.8mm)
• 1-3/8” (35.0mm)
These flowmeters screw on and lock onto the lower end of the PL tool, and have the following features;
• 6 blade lightweight impeller with tungsten pin shaft
• Sprung sapphire jewel bearings
• Near zero drag operation
CFM impeller
These impellers are lightweight and have a tungsten pin bearing shaft.
They are supplied in three different sizes to support the different OD flowmeters;
• 2-1/8” (54.0mm) CFM
• 1-11/16” (42.8mm) CFM & ILFM
• 1-3/8” (35.0mm) CFM
